Why now

You can't buy a credit history. You can only start early.

In the USA, your credit history decides whether you get an apartment, lease a car, sign a phone contract without a deposit or finance a house later on. That history only builds over time. Start today, and in a few years you'll have exactly what others still have to work hard to build.

And if you get a Social Security Number later, the credit history you built under your ITIN can be transferred to the new number. None of it is lost.

Who it's for

Four paths to the USA. One starting point.

01

Moving soon

You're moving in the next few months. With an account, an address and a credit history, you arrive without starting from zero: no hefty deposits, no rejections because no system knows who you are.

02

Moving later

You plan to go in a few years. So start the clock today. When the time comes, you'll bring years of credit history with you.

03

America as Plan B

You're not planning to leave, but you want to be prepared. Your own account, address and credit history in the USA, set up before you need them. Your second financial pillar, in your name.

04

Doing business in the USA

You want to invest in the USA or build a company there. American banks look at you as a person first. With an account and your own credit history, you're no longer a stranger to them.

Already have a US company or about to form one? Then Credit Builder is your route: at formation or for your existing US company.

What's included

Everything you need to get started.

01

ITIN Express included

Normally you only get an ITIN with your first US tax return, often not until the following year. With ITIN Express, we apply for your ITIN right away. For applications from abroad, the IRS quotes a processing time of nine to eleven weeks.

02

Your US bank account

You travel to the USA once. We arrange your in-person appointment at a major US bank in Austin, Miami or another big US city. That's where you open your account.

03

A real US residential address

Not a mailbox: a real residential address in the USA, with its own phone line and utility bill. Included for 12 months.

04

Guidance to your first credit card

We guide you through your first card application, typically a secured card that reports to all three major credit bureaus. That's where your credit history begins. Every application is decided by the issuer.

05

US tax return

Your first-year US tax return is included. It also keeps your ITIN active.

06

Personal support

Three one-on-one sessions over twelve months with your personal contact: at the start, before your trip and once your first score is in. After each session, you get your plan in writing. Plus the monthly Credit Call in the New Horizons Club.

Also included: 12 months of New Horizons Club, worth $1,299, with access to our Call In Days and free consultations, and 15 percent off all events. Membership comes with every formation package and continues with every annual package.

How it works

Six steps to your foot in the door.

  1. 1
    Order.

You order online. Shortly after, your personal contact gets in touch for your first session.

  2. 2
    Your ITIN.

We apply right away with ITIN Express. For applications from abroad, the IRS quotes nine to eleven weeks.

  3. 3
    Address and phone line.

Your US residential address with its own phone line and utility bill is ready.

  4. 4
    Your trip.

Your appointment at a major US bank. You open your account and submit your first card application.

  5. 5
    Your credit history grows.

Pay on time, keep utilization low. After around six months, your first FICO score can be generated.

  6. 6
    The next step.

As your credit history grows, better cards come within reach. In our experience, premium cards take 12 to 24 months. There is no guarantee.

Fair

One fixed price. Nothing else.

We don't earn anything from your credit limit. You pay one fixed price, and whatever limit a bank grants you is yours. Every application is decided by the issuer.

Credit cards aren't money, they're a tool. That's why we only work with people who can pay off their cards in full every month. If US Bank Account Opening isn't right for your situation, we'll tell you honestly in the first session.

Miles
