ITIN Express

Your ITIN, without waiting for your first tax return.

The usual route to an ITIN runs through your first US tax return. Start today, and you are often waiting until next year. ITIN Express is the faster route: together with the attorneys on the firm's team, we developed a special procedure that lets us apply for your ITIN right away, with no prior tax return and on a legally sound basis.

Who it's for

ITIN Express is the answer when you can't wait: because your bank, a card application, a purchase agreement or a business partner needs the number now. If you can wait, we apply for your ITIN at a lower cost together with your first US tax return.

Why we call it Express

Many providers only apply for an ITIN together with your tax return, or if you already have a recognized reason for one. Without either, you wait until your first tax return. ITIN Express needs neither.

How long it takes

Express means you don't need a tax return to apply. It does not mean the IRS works faster. Once we receive your documents, we prepare and file the application. The IRS quotes nine to eleven weeks for applications from abroad, and the same for applications filed in peak season, from January 15 to April 30. We have no influence over this processing time, and the decision to issue the ITIN rests with the IRS alone.

How the procedure works in detail

We walk you through it personally once you've placed your order.
