US Bank Account Opening or Credit Builder

Two paths, one difference: your company.

US Bank Account Opening

$4,900 in the first year

For you personally, no US company needed: ITIN Express included, a US bank account, a US residential address with a phone line for 12 months, guidance to your first credit card, 3 one-on-one calls.

Credit Builder

$5,900 in the first year

Everything in US Bank Account Opening, plus credit for your US company: a D-U-N-S number, the Mercury IO card application, a second business card that reports to the credit bureaus, and guidance until your company has its own credit.

From the second year, both cost the same: residential address with phone line $1,200 per six months, ITIN and US tax return $400 per year.

Business credit and personal credit

Two credit histories that go hand in hand.

In the US, credit bureaus keep credit histories for people and for companies. A new company starts at zero, and the strongest business cards also check the personal credit history of the people behind it. That is why we build both, in that order.

For you

Your personal credit history

With ITIN Express, a US bank account, a US residential address with a phone line and our guidance to your first credit card, you have your own place in the American financial system. On-time payments on cards reported to the three nationwide credit bureaus can help you build a credit history.

That's US Bank Account Opening, and all of it is included in Credit Builder.

For your company

Your company's credit

Your company gets a D-U-N-S number, and we apply for the Mercury IO card together with you. According to Mercury, it reports IO card payments to Experian, Equifax and Dun & Bradstreet.

On top of that comes a second business card that reports to the credit bureaus. We stay with you until your company has its own credit.

Not forming a company, but want your own credit in the US? Then US Bank Account Opening is your path.

How it works

First you, then your company.

Questions

Questions about Credit Builder

Do I have to travel to the USA?
Not for the formation, which is handled remotely. With Credit Builder, you travel to the US once for the bank appointment.
I already have a US company. Does this work for me?
Yes. Credit Builder is also available for your existing US company, with the same scope and at the same price: $5,900 for the first year. When you order, we ask for your company's name, entity type, state, EIN and formation date. Order Credit Builder on its own.
I've already booked US Bank Account Opening. What do I pay?
Just the difference, if you booked US Bank Account Opening no more than twelve months ago: we automatically credit its price of $4,900 in your order. Simply order with the same email address.
What does Credit Builder cost from the second year?
Residential address with phone line: $1,200 per six months. ITIN and US tax return: $400 per year.
How is it different from US Bank Account Opening?
US Bank Account Opening helps you build your personal credit in the US, no company needed. Credit Builder includes all of it and also builds your company's credit: a D-U-N-S number, the Mercury IO card application, a second business card that reports to the credit bureaus, and guidance until your company has its own credit. See US Bank Account Opening.
Why does my personal credit history matter for business cards?
A new company has no track record showing how it pays, and the strongest business cards also check your personal credit history. That's why we build your own US credit history first, then your company's.
Does the Mercury IO card report to the credit bureaus?
According to Mercury, yes: Mercury reports IO card payments to Experian, Equifax and Dun & Bradstreet. Whether your company gets the IO card is Mercury's decision, based on its own review.
