Who this is for
Your US company
Form 1120 for a corporation. Form 1065 for an LLC with two or more members or a limited partnership. A pro forma Form 1120 with Form 5472 for a single-member LLC owned from abroad, which is due even in a year without revenue.
The founder who moved
Your first US year is usually a dual-status year: part nonresident, part resident. We prepare the Form 1040 with the statement for the nonresident part, the FBAR for your accounts at home, and we agree the figures with your adviser there.
US income, life in Europe
You live in Europe and earn US income, from a share in a US business, from US property or from a US client. That is Form 1040-NR, often with a treaty position disclosed on Form 8833.
What happens next
- 01
You send the form
A few lines on who you are, which return you think you need and for which year. If you are not sure which return it is, say so. Sorting that out is our job.
- 02
We read it
If something is unclear, we ask one or two questions by email before we quote.
- 03
You get a quote by email
What we will prepare, what we need from you, and what it costs. Nothing is billed until you accept it.
- 04
We prepare the return
You receive the draft with a short note on the choices we made and why.
- 05
You approve, then it goes to the IRS
Only after your approval. You receive the confirmation and the full set of documents for your records.
Deadlines for tax year 2025
Tax year 2025 is the last completed year. Most of its regular and extended deadlines have passed. If you missed one, the IRS's advice is to file as soon as possible. Returns for 2026 follow the same rules in 2027.

IRS Instructions for Forms 1065, 1120, 5472 and 1040-NR; IRS Publications 509 (2026) and 519; IRS, When to file; IRS, FBAR. Read 25 October 2026. An extension moves the filing date, not the date the tax is due.
Missed a year, or several?
It happens more often than people think, especially with companies started years ago through a provider who disappeared afterwards. We take stock of which years and which forms are open, catch up in order, and where the conditions are met, ask the IRS to waive the penalties.
Do not wait for a letter. For a single-member LLC owned from abroad, the penalty for a missing Form 5472 is $25,000, with or without profit. More on the yearly duties under tax and ongoing operations.
Questions about the quote
Does the quote cost anything?
No. You receive it by email, and nothing is billed until you accept it.
I do not know which return I need.
Choose "not sure" and describe what your company does in the US, or where you lived and earned in the year. We work out which returns apply.
Will you work with my adviser at home?
Yes. We agree the figures with them before anything goes in on either side, so both returns tell the same story.
Tell us about your plan.
If your question is bigger than one return, talk to us about the whole picture.
